Certified Instructors
Professionally trained in first-aid techniques and certified to provide expert guidance and supervision, TARC trainers undergo annual refreshing courses to ensure their skills and knowledge are up-to-date for your utmost safety on the adventure. Our Instructors & trainers have completed their certification from Mountaineering institutes under the Ministry of Defense, Government of India, like Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM), Uttarkashi and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), Darjeeling.

We prioritize safety through regular risk assessments and site evaluations. Our staff is trained for swift emergency responses, including communication, evacuation, and medical aid. Instructors provide thorough safety briefings, covering equipment usage, climbing techniques, and emergency procedures. We meticulously maintain and inspect our equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
Meticulous Training Programme
We ensure that we provide a comprehensive training programme to the students, including the basics of trekking. The part covers aspects like backpacking basics, preparation for the trek, DOs and DONTs, things to carry, maintenance of physical fitness, and much more.

The best time to visit Leh is between May and September when the weather is pleasant, most roads and passes are open. This period is ideal for trekking and adventure activities organised by TARC.
Yes, the itinerary is designed by TARC to accommodate both families and school students, ensuring a mix of educational experiences and sightseeing in Leh.
Accommodations will be in hotels and camps, offering a comfortable and safe stay throughout the trip. TARC ensures high-quality lodging for all participants.
Travel between locations will be by comfortable, well-maintained Tempo Traveler vehicles suited for the mountainous terrain provided by TARC.
No, flights are not included in the package, but TARC can arrange the flight tickets at the airline’s actual cost.
The itinerary includes rest periods for acclimatization. Staying hydrated, avoiding strenuous activity on the first day, and following any advice given by TARC’s experienced guides are recommended.
Safety is a top priority for TARC. Our guides are trained in first aid and emergency services. It’s also recommended that personal medications be carried and the tour leader be informed of any health conditions.
The itinerary includes Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Stok Palace Museum, Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point, Sangam, Nubra Valley, Diskit Monastery, Hundar Sand Dunes, Pangong Lake, and Hemis Monastery, curated by TARC.
Yes, the camel safaris using double-humped Bactrian camels are part of the Itinerary.
Yes, all meals are included in the package. TARC ensures nutritious meals throughout the trip.
Yes, please inform TARC in advance of any dietary restrictions or allergies, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
TARC will provide the list of clothing and other essentials to be carried.
No special trekking equipment is needed, but it’s advisable to carry basic medical supplies and personal comfort items. TARC will provide any necessary gear for specific activities.
A deposit is required to secure your spot, with the balance due before the trip begins. Specific payment schedules will be provided upon booking with TARC.
In the event of cancellation, refunds will be processed as follows:
- Up to 60 days before the departure date: Full refund, including the registration amount.
- Up to 30 days before the departure date: 50% of the amount will be refunded.
- Beyond 30 days before the departure date: No refund will be provided.
