Overview

Considered as the most beautiful trek in the Garhwal Himalayas, the Kuari Pass Trek goes through areas that have not yet been fully explored. The ascent to the pass is steep and tough. The pass is situated on the ridge that divides the Lesser Himalaya from the Greater Himalaya. The ridge top is a grassy meadow, and one gets amazing views of the Greater Himalaya from here. The ridge overlooks peaks such as Nanda Devi, Dunagiri, Hathi Parvat, Ghori Parvat, Kamet, Chaukmamba, Nilkanth, Bethratoli and Trishul.

Itinerary

Transfer to hotel, meet the team, trip briefing and proceed to Delhi sightseeing including Parliament House, India Gate, Gandhi Smriti and Qutab Minar OR Humayun’s Tomb. 2 Night |4-star| Bed and Breakfast | Twin-Sharing

Check in at Camp Panther and post lunch, enjoy the Ziplining across the river Ganga. Night stay at Camp.

Enjoy adventure activities (Rafting / Rock-climbing & Rappelling) / Rishikesh sightseeing.

9-10 hours’ Drive | 8,625 ft.| Stay at hill resort.

Acclimatization day at 8625ft. Hike to Gorson point to enjoy the wonderful views of Nanda Devi, sightseeing trip to Joshimath – known to be the winter abode of a Hindu God, Badrinath.

4–5-hour Trek | Reach the campsite at Chuniya /Tali. Night stay in tents.

10,492 ft Altitude | 5-hour Trek | Night stay in tents.

12,516 ft Altitude | 14 km | Night stay in Tents.

Trek down for about 5-6 hours (12 km) to reach Dhak. Drive to Rudraprayag (114 Kms/ 4hrs). Stay at Rudraprayag hotel.

5-hour drive | 123 km | Stay at Adventure Camp.

Transfer to Dehradun and depart for home.

Cost Includes

  • Accommodation for 1 night in Delhi at a 3-star hotel, 3 nights at Camp Panther using tents (Rishikesh), 2 nights at Hill Resort (Auli), 3 nights of outdoor camping using Alpine style trekking tents/ Fixed tented Camp, and 1 night at a hotel in Rudraprayag.
  • All meals starting with lunch on day 1 till lunch on day 11.
  • Accompanying SLA Trip Leader highly trained and certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR.
  • All land transportation as per itinerary using a non-air-conditioned 27-seater mini coach.
  • Adventure activities during stay at Camp Panther (Yoga, Rafting, Zip line & hiking).
  • Trip participant certificate.
  • Comprehensive first aid kit, oxygen cylinder, and a riding horse for back up support during the trek.
  • All trekking arrangements (Includes experienced local trekking guide, cook, helpers, support vehicle/ ponies/ horses for carrying luggage etc.)
  • All camping arrangements (Includes member tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, kitchen tent, dining tent with table and camping stool, dry pit toilet tents with improvised WC etc).
  • Packaged safe drinking water in 20 liters jars / boiled drinking water will be provided during the trek which can be refilled every day at the camping site.
  • Adventure Sports Travel Insurance up to 5 Lac covering – air evacuation, hospitalization, travel medicines, baggage insurance, and trip cancellation charges due to unavoidable circumstances.

  • Any service prior to arrival in Delhi and after departure from Delhi.
  • Any additional personal medical insurance etc.
  • Any meals/ optional trips/ extra vehicle usage or any other services other than specified in the program.
  • Personal expenses such as beverages (bottled water/ soft drinks/ energy drinks), telephone calls, tips & gratuities, laundry room service etc.
  • Personal expenses such as table drinks, room service, telephone calls, laundry, tips & gratuities etc.
  • Personal equipment like clothes, shoes, daypacks, cameras, toiletries, medical kit etc.
  • Any exigency expenses caused by or liability for disturbance in trip program due to circumstances beyond our normal control such as airline delays/ cancellation, roadblocks, vehicle malfunctions, weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots etc.
